I installed a program by the title's name, but when I try to run it, it pops a short, but not so sweet error simply saying "Privileged Instruction". I set it to run as administrator, even though I'm logged in as administrator, and I even tried it in Safe Mode with the same result.

I don't think that I have seen an error quite like this, and I'm wondering how one becomes privileged enough to run it?

I just took a quick look on the site. The listed OS say nothing about 64 bit. Are you sure it claims 64 bit support?

No, I'm not sure of anything, but since it did install, and the error does not appear to be platform related, I don't think that it matters about x64.

I found a later version that looks as though it is going to work:

And it does say that it supports W7 x64. At least the permissions error is gone.

Dump the software, it's got a serious bug in it.

"Priviledged Instruction" means it's a kernel level CPU op-code that can only operate at the core OS levels, generally dealing with hardware interupts and I/O operations... it's not something you put into user code.

Privileged Instructions - Definition

You can have all the priviledge in the world and that CPU ain't gonna let you run kernel mode instructions in an end user program.
