My son has a problem on his PC where everytime he starts up his computer or reboots he can't connect to the internet and the little network icon in the corner of the screen has a yellow warning sign. If you disable the network adapter and then re-enable it then the problem goes away. Is there anyway to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

Check for driver updates from the manufacturer.

It sounds like its having a problem communicating with the dhcp server.

Thanks, I've just updated the network adapter driver so hopefully this will fix it.

You may need to flush the DNS cache, too.

Open a command prompt....from the Start menu, select Run > In the box/"open field", enter cmd.exe Right click to run as Administrator. Copy and paste ipconfig /flushdns press 'enter' key.
