What is the program, never heard of a windows demanding a digitally signed driver, it usually just gives you a popup saying the driver is not digitally signed by MS, which does not matter, because MS does not have the time to do it for every driver out there.

Signed drivers are required for 64 bit Windows per Microsoft spec (if you saw a popup, it would've been on a 32-bit Windows machine)

from Microsoft Device Drivers and Deployment Overview
Understanding Digital Signature Requirements
Signed device drivers are a key security feature in Windows. Drivers that are installed on x64‐based computers must have a digital signature. Although it isn't required, we recommend making sure that drivers are signed before you install them on x86‐based computers.
