win7 x64 ahci drivers problem

Hello everyone,

I searched the forum but didnt found good solution.

It is not a bios ahci ide setting...

I have a big problem with drivers rst, I'm unable to see my other drives. I uninstalled and reinstalled different versions included working version on another identical clone system.

Do you knows of an ideal version ?

I also checked for hiddens devices unused drivers...

I restore drivers with a backup, doesnt works...

Any idea what to do ?

In fact, Its the amd display drivers that is the problem. I tried installing differents versions with no result. Always the error 0xc00007b...

Hi Oues,
couple of things,
try a repair install using your W7 install disc, you should have them as your running a Retail motherboard

It might not just be the AMD drivers, check Asus's site for the motherboard drivers, had a quick look and theres a Bios update you probably need, i suggest you update the chipset drivers as well.

Thank you for the answer.

All this already been done...startup repair doesnt repair the trouble. I cant boot. I checked the drivers list in command line, tried differents versions recommended, always bsod 7b...

Some precisions, I run on a win 10 on the same machine. I cant boot the the 7 system, so the logs will shows the right hardware but...can I generate this in cmd line for the 7 offline system having the bsod ?

The more info the better.
So your dual booting, which is the prime 7 or 10

There is a boot partition created by me for boot files only. The boot menu is from 7, default 7. The bcd is fine from my understanding, I already made some plays with that. I select my win 10 and boot without problem, and a linux partition, all booting fine.

As it is Windows 10 the problem on Windows 7 is not included, to troubleshoot your Windows 7 installation you need to run the DM Log Collector in Windows 7.

The only thing I dint run yet in all the steps is a virus scan. Does the order of theses steps is absolutely important ? I've run them a lot, when you try to resolve an issue...

I already been able to boot some times but unable to repeat the process.

Not necessarily, but it does make ruling out easier.

I have this from the cbs.log scan yesterday:

But no change...and from my memory these errors was there long time before my bsod. This relate to win updade error...can that maybe the root cause of my bad dream ?
