The sticks are labeled correctly. The were bought as a KIT. A 4 gig kit in which the package contains a matching PAIR of 2 gig sticks.

Ah I was assuming they were bought as a matched 8GB pair (2x4GB)

Yep Layback I did ask in post #2 and it is a bone of contention with me several just lately have been posting the OS only and it does make for heavy going.

I was not criticising you Jack it just seems lately I cannot put a foot right, plus the issue of system specs does or is beginning to irritate me and I suppose I should just avoid those without them or stop posting at all.

Yes ok it has been a bad last two months with problems of my own but I do like to keep half a hand in.
