Unusual remote assistance control process

I was listening to some music, when all of a sudden my task bar turned light blue, (basically turned to the Windows Starter color). Then, a random window of mine minimized, and the task-bar went back to normal.

I checked my task manager and I seen two seemingly-fake flash.exe processes running. It looks like they came from the rapid-gator website. Anytime rapidgator adware pops up, I close out of it. Could this have anything to do with it?

I already had a ghost copy of my operating system from two weeks ago, so I just reverted to that using Shadow Protect. Has anyone ever experienced something so eerie? Should I have been worried at that time prior to me reverting to my backup?

Not in this particular instance. If I do, I install the program, and then when I'm done with it, I revert to my backup as if it was never installed.

However, I noticed that the taskbar faded to light blue and then my computer went to sleep. Could this just have been my computer going to sleep. Is it common for the task bar to get a little darker just before sleeping?

Maybe I'm getting a little ahead of myself.

So, you're telling me your computer stays on 24/7 365?
