unwanted start up programme

HI, When I click on IE to open my homepage a programme pops up called Dregmol it is a search prog
I have looked through all my installed programmes to delete it but it is not listed, any help to find a solution
would be appreciated. Also is it possible to get my homepage to come up without clicking on IE. Thanks.Megroy.

Hi Megroy,
Its more than likely a plugin go to IE settings, cant remember if its the cog symbol or bars, and remove it from there.
Your homepage is part of IE it wont come up seperately.

Is it Dregmol or Dregol ?

I did a search for Dregmol and from what i found Dregol seems like some type of adware/malware.
You can search for Dregmol and decide if you want to use any of the articles listed to try and remove it yourself.
If I found it on a PC, I would ask for help in the http://www.sevenforums.com/system-security/ sub-forum.
The security experts there know a lot more than me.
