Update alerts from various applications

I get, as we all do, update alerts from/for various applications. Sometimes, I do not manage to click on the alert, whereupon it disappears. I may not even have seen what application it was. Is there any way to reactivate these applications?

They usually reappear after a few restarts. You may have some of your programs on automatic update and what you saw was just a notification.

If you check your Windows Logs - Applications, you might see an event indicating which program sent the alert.

You can try something like Filehippo update checker to see which programs you have installed are up to date or not.

There are so many events that it is very difficult to find the relevant ones. I did find a number of Adobe alerts, but it is hard to determine what kind of event they were. For instance, they mostly start: "The description for Event ID 0 from source AdobeARMservice cannot be found."
