Hello Smileyface,

I was wandering, Did you restart the computer after the update was completed? Putting the machine into Hibernate is not enough, if you are doing this, then you will need to restart the computer for the changes to take effect.

Yes, the screenshot shows it installed 2 times, then the next day 2 times. Turned off, then turned on. Hibernation is disabled. :)

Microsoft is useless. I just spent 1 hr with two live agents.. useless.

I have uninstalled this update and Hope one comes out before the end of life for win 7.

If problem continues, please download and run AutoSURT64 from my footer. It is M$ System Update Readiness Tool plus it places cbs folder on desktop. Delete everything but cbs.log checksur.log, zip, upload please. Logs show what's happening or not.

OK So..
I installed a few of the updates except the ones in red.. ( something to do with sharing PC's ).

Screenshot shows the one update (4.8) that is in the above screenshots.. but not that other main one.

OK so ..
It still showed the updates were needed, I uninstalled from Programs and Features.. the 4.8.
then... There was a few to re-download.. So again, I did all but the red ones.

Finally, I am up to date!

Thanks for that program!

No problem Smileyface, glad to see your issue is resolved.
Didn't see logs but assume botched install of KB I had you uninstall with CMD
Please mark thread as resolved.

I tried your file and it showed "system cannot find the file specified"

Thanks.
