hi!

I updated to my latest gpu drivers and my computer crashed halfway through. this has happened before and windows repair fixed it. but now it won't.

I've been look around on the Internet but haven't found a solution. win repair says root cause is error code 0x490, but the solutions I've found didn't help(set disk to active and fix bootmgr).

DISKPART says that my disk isn't boot disk and that it can't find a windows installation.

I'm very good with computers but this is too complicated for me. I know how to use the prompt but I'm not too familiar with these advanced commands(diskpart and bootrec to name a few).

I'm also very reluctant to install windows from scratch. I believe this should be able to be fixed with out reformatting.

please, do you have any suggestions on what to do?

regards,
Marcus

btw, I'm able to get to the console via boot disk and windows built in repair. my system disk is found and marked as "healthy", but that's it.
