Updates Failing to Install

Hi, everyone. So I'm having this issue where in my update history I see certain updates that are marked as failed to install. When I try to install the specific update from Microsoft website, I get a pop up window saying that that update I'd already installed on my computer. So I'm confused because that update in my update history is marked as failed installed. Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

Take a look in your updates and see if the same KB that is listed as failed is also listed as successful on another line.

Try resetting windows update history

You can also try uninstalling & reinstalling problem update

at cmd.exe

wusa /uninstall /KB:update.number.goes.here /quiet /norestart
