Hi chas2019,

Welcome to SevenForums!

I have tried to repair windows 7 updates and it continues to fail at a certain update. I uninstalled Internet Explorer and now cannot update to the lates version as this update now fail also. How can I fix this situation?

Please run SFC_System_File_Checker.bat, Options [2] and [4] from here => BATCH PROGRAMS [Standalone] and then upload the results using the tutorial at the bottom of the above link [Upload to SevenForums . . .] and someone will look at it for you.

Please run SURT from here => AutoSURT and then upload the CBS folder [as above] that is created on the desktop. If the folder is larger than 8 MB then please delete/remove the .cab files from within it before uploading.

I hope this helps!

Like I continue to say, follow the Windows Update Posting Instruction or preferably
run SFC /SCANNOW from ADM CMD
Run SFCFix.exe by Nimiro, look it up on google, he is my Win Update Professor
Run AutoSURT, see, x32 or x64, being that you didn't follow the posint instructions as to system specs, we already know it is windows 7 because this is SEVENForums.
Please click on the appropriate x32 or x64, follow tool instruction & then Paul's instructions.

Thank you

Bill

PS check my Windows Update Tools in my Footer Folder. It's all there for your Perusal!
