Hello again. Well its spring and i have updated my PC and Cell Phone.

I have a Dell 1520 that's 5 years old which i just took apart and cleaned out all the Dust, and applied new Thermal grease to the CPU, it had completely dried out and was reaching 82 Degrees and shutting down,

All that's is fixed now running at a cool 55 Degrees and not even getting warm, it is a 32 Bit Genuine Windows 7, i would like to know if i can run windows 7 X64 on the Dell 1520.

i also have another PC that is Running X32 Windows 7 Also..... That machine is a AMD dual core running at 2.8 MHZ..and 4 Gigs of ram. i believe i can install X64 on the PC running X32 ?

Thanks in Advance.

What cpu does it have ? Is it 64 bit capable ?

How much memory do you have installed and how much does it support.

Find these answers and it will help you determine your options.

No real reason to install 64 bit on the 2nd machine. But if you really wanted to, you could.

Get the network drivers for the Dell before you start any new install on it. get them from the Dell site, just type in your express code and it will bring up all your drivers for that machine.

It is.

ARK | Intel® Core

Unless you`re gonna AddRAM Ha Ha get it ?

I see no reason for reinstalling, but hey, I always install 64 bit if I can.

IMPORTANT: When you`re gonna reinstall on a Dell get your network drivers before you start, so you can install it and get online.

I would get the network drivers for that too, if you can, just to be safe. But windows should have them.

You could always just make another partition and install 64 bit on that to test, just an idea. You may kick yourself later for messin with your perfectly working pc ;)

Why ? It`s boring and you`ll hate it. It`s ugly, you can`t do anything to it graphics wise, don`t bother.

Hello Again, well i have been trying for a few hours now to get my TP Link TL-WN751ND 150 Mbps Wireless N PCI Adapter to work.

So i powered down, installed the WIFI card, booted up and installed the latest drivers from the Manufactors web site, and after configuring the WTFI Card.... i was connected to the Internet.

i Rebooted the PC ( PC that is Running X32 Windows 7 Also..... That machine is a AMD dual core running at 2.8 MHZ..and 4 Gigs of ram.) and it told me to insert the WIFI card ? (HUH ) its installed.

so i powered down and changed the WIFI card to another PCI slot. booted up, no connection, so i uninstalled the drivers, took the WIFI card out and rebooted ...

powered down again and reinstalled the WIFI card, booted up, installed the drivers, configured the card. and i was connected again. Rebooted and once again i was told to put the card back in, ?

am i missing something here ?

Thanks in Advance.
