Hi all,
Normally I would be installing Windows 10 but I am in a situation for work were a set of PCs in our organization can't be updated to 10 until next year. Our organization is already paying for the extended support from Microsoft.
Here is the situation, I am having to use standalone MDT to install Windows 7 SP1 64-bit on these machines. They are old enough to still take 7 and not worry about the processor issue. What I need is a way to install just the roll ups to get the system as close to updated to April 2020, but if the roll ups stop at January 2020 then that is okay too. As a test I just deployed Windows 7 in a VM and its taking more than 4 hours and it is still installing updates. I am pretty sure most of this could be covered with roll ups but I am unsure as to order of how things need to be installed because servicing stacks mess things up.
