Solved Upgrade motherboard without reinstalling OS help?

I've just bought a new motherboard and hooked it all up but it can't boot and restarts everytime I turn it on. How can I get my PC to work without having to reinstall Windows?

will it boot into safe mode?

asking windows to be transfered from one system to another is A LOT to ask, especially if you have an system builder copy which will only work on the original hardware it was installed on.

if you can boot into safe mode, a long shot would be running driver sweep and removing all of your previous systems drivers. But its a long shot.

it doesn't get past the 'starting windows' screen, and then restarts to ask me to start normally or launch repair. it's an endless loop! :shock:

Gave up and have reinstalled windows anyway. Can't see my 2nd hard drive anymore.
