UPDATE:
I know the thread is old, but here's what happened.
Finding 7 drivers was mostly easy using driver genius pro. Had to be creative with the sound drivers (ended up using microsoft update through device manager to find a driver).
I completely retired XP off of it and performance is decent for a 5 yr/old laptop.
