Solved Upgrading windows 7 ultimate 32 bit to 64 bit using All in one CD

i am currently running windows 7 ultimate 32 bit, i want to upgrade to 64 bit using an all in one installation CD, all in one means that the CD has all versions of windows , i want to know if its possible upgrading using this CD.

If you want to go from Windows 7/32 to Windows 7/64 you will need to do a Clean Install with Windows 7/64.

ok, is there a way that i can back up all my application and restore them in the newly installed windows ?so i don't reinstall every program.

You can backup your programs to a external drive and then transfer them to the new install.
The proper way in my opinion is to clean install all programs on your new system. You will find out that their will be less problems. Some programs might not install or work properly because you are going from a 32 bit to 64 bit Windows 7.
