uploading photos from a camera tot the compuer

I would like a piece of software that uploads photos from a camera. It needs to allow the naming of a folder and erasing of existing photos on the camera. Any suggestions?

Hi Retiredbill,

Are the photos on memory card? If they are, you can use Windows to transfer photos to computer and rename them. If not, you should have a connection somewhere on the camera to connect a patch cable to it and the computer. If you're having problems erasing the memory card, check to see if the lock is enabled. If so push it in the other direction.

Normally when you connect it to the PC it asks what you want to do like open with explorer or open with other programme you may need to set on the camera connection type is USB
