Hello Ralf,

I'm assuming that the unallocated Disk 1 is the one that you deleted your files on by mistake.

If so, then pick up at step 7 in OPTION FOUR of the tutorial below to restore the disk and hopefully all previous files on it as well. Just do not format or delete the disk again. If you do, you may not be able to recover the files.

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/26829-convert-dynamic-disk-basic-disk.html

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Since you Windows 7 installation is on Disk 0 instead of the deleted Disk 1, then no it will not ruin your system. As long as you do not delere or format Disk 1 again, you may be able to recover you files on it. If what you are trying not doesn't work in recovering Disk 1, then try with the program I posted in the tutorial above. :)

Hello Brink, I manage to recover "some" files,
here's the image:

atl07b.jpg

actually, the 93.74GB and 384.94GB unallocated space were on the RockyX3
disk, and only half of the files of RockyX3 disk were recovered, can i still recover some things here?

Thanks.

Edit:

Also how will i include this on my system?
I still can't see it on my disks
here's the photo on my disk management:

Ralf,

Hopefully after you assign a drive letter, you may be able to recover more. However, I wouldn't expect to be able to get to much more than what you already have if any. :(

Ralf,

It says that Disk1 has 931.51 GB capacity and 931.51 GB free. There's nothing left on it. :(

As Stenzin posted above, go ahead and add a driver letter for Disk 1 to see if you may be able to access it afterwards, and hopefully recover anything on it with a free program like Recuva. I would recommend to add whatever letter it originally had if able.

Sorry, I thought that you had already recovered what you could with Partition Wizard.

Did you "Apply" after it was recovered at step 14 in OPTION FOUR in the tutorial below?

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/26829-convert-dynamic-disk-basic-disk.html

I did Brink, anyway I recovered my other hard drive, however my Drive G: RockyX3 is asking me to format it, actually the unallocated space were on my Drive G it was extended on my Drive G

And why is it raw? I tried to extend my Drive G, though this appears:

I haven't pressed yes yet, I'm waiting for your experts answer.

DO NOT press Yes. You do not want to convert the disk to dynamic.

Were you not able to restore all partitions on Disk 1 at once as in the tutorial instead of one at a time like this?

Yes I wasn't able to restore it all just only my other drive which is Drive: L
as you can see in this image:
eqaz29.jpg

This once 3 we're a drive (The unallocated space we're on my drive G: RockyX3) after using Minitool Partition Wizard the volume was been into pieces. Maybe I did was wrong? I'm using the v7.1 version while on the thread you gave me was 5.2? (I think, not sure). That's why I haven't been able to follow it. The only thing I just need to recover is this Drive: G, My Drive: L is fully functional at the moment.
Thanks, Brink.

Did you want to merge the unallocated space to another partition on the disk, or recover it as a separate partition?

Sorry for confusing, I think my files weren't actually deleted since it's still on Drive G on Mini Partition Wizard. I think by merging unallocated space on the Drive G would help me recover all my files on Drive G without formatting it. Sorry for confusing you Brink, english is not my main language.

You would only want to try and restore the disk exactly how it was before you deleted it. If the disk originally had partitions where the two unallocated spaces are now, then merging them (extending another partition into them) could destroy any chance of recovery files from them.

Have you already tried using Recuva to see if you may be able to recover any files from them?

I tried recuva, though i can't see my "MAIN" files on it. It only show things that I don't need e.g jpg, png, mp3 etc etc.. Most of this files is videos, and the folders became thumb.db

Is test disk worth trying? Is there any application that I can retrieve things on a raw hard disk?

Edit: see it brink? it's not totally 345.57GB. It's
35k4z6q.jpg
829GB

before my HD was destroyed, it was orginally 829GB
came from Unallocated space: 93.74GB & 389.94GB
