Solved USB 3.0 won't start after PC sleeps

Sorry. Got a bit late last night and my PC shut down.

As I was saying, the vendor ID seems to be from the chip maker of the reader. The chips do require a driver for USB 3.0 but it's more "firmware" than a driver though as it's chip based. I still think the problem is hardware. Either the reader is faulty or the adapter. You might try disconnecting the card reader and adapter then try using one of the rear USB 3.0 ports with something in it--Like a thumb drive and see if the hub stays powered after a sleep. If it doesn't then it's most likely your power settings. If it does, then it's the reader, cable or adapter.

The front panel consists of 3X USB3.0 - 1X Sata + Card reader. The reader is running through the USB not the Sata. My Rear USB 3.0 show up as Renesas Elec USB 3.0 Host Controller & Renesas Elec USB 3.0 ROOT Hub.

The front USB is just a Renesas Elec USB 3.0 Hub.

My rear USB 3.0 work fine after wake up, it's only the front panel that doesn't work but it does still show up in Device Manager. The front panel is plugged into the rear USB 3.0.

I didn't say anything about SATA?

Then I would say the problem is in the front panel (card reader). Does it have a power cable or does it draw it's power from the USB hub? If it has a power cable, describe it please. If not, the reader may not be compatible with Windows 7. It wouldn't be the first time. That's why most folks don't buy generic accessories--They leave you to fend for yourself.

One last thing to try then I'm tapped-out of ideas.
Check the USB setting in your Power Options. (Advanced settings) Change the "Selective Suspend" to Disable. Apply, OK out then reboot. This is supposed to be for USB 2.0 but perhaps MS has updated Windows via a patch/update.

Well guys, this has finally resolved it's self. The front panel completely died. It still shows as a 3.0 hub in device manager but nothing works. I've uninstalled, unplugged, re-installed, dipped in the toilet, it is dead!

Carwiz -James , thanks for hanging in there with me over this whole thing. I'm like you, I think there was something wrong with the hardware the whole time. I really appreciate the patience and the help!!
