windows won't start after crash

so this has been going on for a month now every few days my computer will freeze some time I'll get a BSOD some times I wont. then Windows will not start at ALL. First I'd get window can't be found then it would get stuck on the starting Windows page and BSOD, now it going right to my bios screen. each time I'll try to boot from a USB to "repair" half the time nothing works others I'll have it say Windows can not repair would you like to send this info. most the time when it dies that Windows magical starts up untill the next time and we start this all over and over.


and as of right know it doesn't boot up onto the BIOS but the windows repair from my USB. I'm sure if I take it out it will go back to the BIOS

Diagnostics Test

Run SeaTools DOS to check the integrity of your HDD. SeaTools for DOS and Windows - How to Use - Windows 7 Help Forums

   Note

Do not run SeaTools on an SSD as the results will be invalid.

If SSD will be invade don;t think it will help since windows is on an SSD.

One thing I have have seen is when in the system repair if I go to look for a backup file I find that my two SSD drive have switched. My C:/ becomes G:/ and G:/ becomes C:/ tho when windows comes back up its normal

The best other possibility is chkdsk, or when you boot a firmware update / scan from another program.

ok ill see if anything shows up.

One other thing might be the problem i have a hard drive, good 10+ years, not showing up anymore after one of the crashes. And every now and then I hear a clicking sounds from the hard drives, not sure what one, when starting it up. Could that maybe be what is messing with windows?

That possibility is present, I've never seen a hard drive survive that long and still working 100%.

i just have to FIND that hard drive lol I tried unhooking one...wrong one >.<

got some new cat 6 and was like well I'm cleaning up some cables let's pull that drive out. no clicking sound and windows booted up much faster ..well ish cause it wanted to also do a defrag but looks like it might have been that drive now I just has all that lost data ...cause that was my backup from the old computer -_-
