USB Headset louder with one USB port than the other

I use the front USB ports for my headset. there are 2 in the front. However there is a big noticeable difference in volume with the left compared to the right. The left one is a good volume and easy to work with, but the right USB port always has lower volume.

My guess is that it's a power problem, but I want to make sure before I do anything.

I would just use the left one, but for some reason, the port is sensitive and disconnects easily.

It would depend on how the hardware is connected, both at the motherboard to the front panel and how the front panel is configured. This is more a general hardware issue than an audio issue, even though its affecting the headset.
