Hi

I have a LAN 192.168.1.0 network with five computers with Windows 7 SP1.

On a computer, I installed a TIM USB Internet stick 4G:

---------------------------------------------------
Software Version: IK40_FT_02.00_05

Device name: IK40
---------------------------------------------------

Now, to use this stick, I should go to the 192.68.1.1 webpage which coincides with the address of my hardware firewall which is connected to a router that manages the fiber.

Now, how can I simultaneously use my network (and VDSL2 connection) and Internet stick to be able to receive and send the SMS?

Thanks

Bye

Your router connects to the ISP and it connects you to the internet. The Internet connection is shared by the router to all computers.
The TIM USB Internet stick 4G connects your computer (Via cell phone network) to the internet. It uses the cell phone infrastructure, but is not a cell phone connection. You don't have a cell phone number.

To send receive Short Message Service (SMS) you must be a cell phone subscriber and have a cell phone number. People send SMS to this number and you send SMS from this number.

In other words, you can't send / receive SMS, as you do from a cell phone, from your computer.

Many cell phone company's has a web page were you log in using your cell phone number and then you can see and write SMS. Is similar to web mail.
