HI all, having a problem here. My laptop won't install my USB mouse when i plugged it into my second USB port. It only works in my first USB port when i first restored my windows 7. I tested using my pendrive in the second port and its working just fine. However, when i tried to use my mouse in the second port, it wont work, even the broadband which I am trying to use in that port.

I recalled clicking the option "skip searching for drivers from windows update" coz i was on a slow net at that time and was kinda in a hurry, so yeah. Is there any way to make my laptop re-install the drivers in it coz my wild guess is that I chose not to install it last time so it wont try to auto install the drivers again. Please help and thanks in advance.

This is a guess, but on some laptops, I've had this issue with flash drives before. The cause was the plastic bezel of the laptop, which would prevent a flash drive from being plugged in all the way (and wouodn't get recognized because of it). If I moved the drive to another port, it would work fine.

Thanks for the reply, but the thing is, its only happening for two specific devices which are working perfectly fine, and so are the ports. Its just that those two dont go well together. I can install my mouse previously in that port, now, I can't seem to find any explanation for it.
