usb ports have stopped working

Well i found the problem. A: im an idiot and B: those two usb ports that werent working were those 4 prong outlets, and 1 or 2 of the prongs in each was kinda bent and squished down.

my headset and wireless mouse receiver wouldnt plug into the other usb outlets, that have just the one bar, because there was this stupid little plastic thing inside their plug blocking it, which i was able to pry out, and they work fine in the other usb outlets. ( i was wondering why only two out of the 9 outlets i have would fit my hardware). I also didnt bother trying my ipod in one of the regular outlets, thinkin it wouldnt fit if the other ones didnt, until today and realized that it fit and worked fine in those outlets.

sorry for wasting your time. but i honestly bet some of the other people posting in these forums are dealing with the same problem.
