The Event appears to indicate a problem with the power supplied to the USB hub/ports. Either there is a problem with the power being received from the motherboard, or some connected device has gone into sleep mode. Either way, the power supplied is not meeting its specification.

It appears to happen one time in 24hours, often 16-18hours between without any sleeping mode, only screensaver. I will try to run on my Vista harddrive to see if it happens there too. If it should be the usb, what takes to change them?

Could be a high load on an individual USB port.

Try disconnecting all USB devices, leave the computer for a while and then connect only keyboard and mouse. Or use PS/2 connectors if available.

Maybe he should answer his doorbell. :D

I noticed the log says the OS is Vista.

This thread talks about that issue and has some links to a possible fix.

If it helps, hopefully, he'll post that here.

I have now tried my Vista harddrive and everything with usb works fine there but the problem is still there with Windows 7.

Does it matter which USB device is plugged in?
