USB Slows down transfer on a USB 3.0 port

Hi all.

I just bought a ASUS n53sv, with a USB 3.0 port..
All my transfers thru this port, slows down ..

On my other USB (2.0) ports, the transfer is on a steady .. 10-20mb/pr. sec.
Howeer on my USB 3.0 - transfers start with a upload on appr. 110-130mb/pr. sec, and within maximum .. 20-30sec it has reached 5mb/pr. sec .. How come, and what can i do?

You didn't mention what you are plugging into the USB 3.0 port for transfer. It must be USB 3.0 compatible also.
