By editing the ei.cfg we can install any version of windows in stranded dvds.
Is there any way to switch editions in recovery dvds?

I have Dell's Home Basic recovery dvds, is it possible to edit something in it and install ultimate or professional ?

No, you cannnot unlock Factory Recovery disks to reinstall another version.
