hi, i tried that method and it came up with BSOD at the very attempt to load windows with the following *** STOP: 0x000000C4 (0x00000000000000B2, 0xFFFFF980013C0FC0, 0x0000000000000005, 0x0000000000000005)
what should i do now?

When I type verifier in Start's run box I get a Windows Explorer page. Same thing when I type in RegEdit or other valid commands. Any idea what's wrong with my setup?

Please do the following to see what directories the run box uses

• Open a command prompt, or admin command prompt if you prefer to keep your computer name private
• Enter the command echo %path% and press enter
• Press Ctrl + A on your keyboard and press enter
• Paste the output in a new post.

Do the same for the command echo %pathext%

Could you do the same for %pathext% variable and verify that verifier.exe is in C:\Windows\system32.
