Solved Using more than one browser?

If you haven't tried yet:

- Download Complete Internet Repair - MajorGeeks

Run as admin, in Safe Mode with Networking, and select options:
- Repair Internet Explorer
- Reset Windows Firewall (not sure, but doesn't hurt)

See how it goes.

Hi GokAy,
I don't really want to run a complete internet repair (or even Windows 7) after all I have downloaded and run in the last two days. I am done with that because I only want I.E. as a secondary browser so it's not really a big deal.

How do I run as administrator? I am the only named person using this computer so I thought I WAS ALREADY running everything as the administrator!

Hi,
You can check to see if your running as admin if you right click your shortcuts like this
Then to test you can click on the run as admin listing to see if it makes any difference
See if it's grayed out in the properties if so I imagine Yes your probably already running as admin as you can see mine is grayed out.
I suppose If I replaced the shortcut I could check the box to run as admin :/

Right click any exe and select Run as Administrator. You are not given admin privileges automatically even though your account is admin.

Hi ThrashZone,
The Privilege Leval box is grayed out where it says "Run As Administrator." Does that mean I am running as Administrator?
GokAy, not being sure I did that right I right clicked on the I.E. "E" icon and ran it as administrator. Then I checked I.E. to see if I could sign in to see my mail and the page went blank. However, one thing I DID notice is after I try to sign in, and get that blank page, the 2nd box on the right at the top changes from Yahoo to hsrd.yahoo.com. I don't know if that helps but I thought I would point that out.

Hi,
Sounds like your getting redirected for some odd reason :/
I'd open ie,
Use Ctrl+Shift+Delete or Gear symbol on the top right and Safety and Delete browser history,
Check All of the boxes except for the very top box Uncheck it.
Delete.
Close ie and restart your pc,
Use this link to sign into Yahoo mail,
https://login.yahoo.com/?.src=ym&.intl=us&.lang=en-US&.done=https%3a//mail.yahoo.com

OK, it's working now!
I guy at the Tech Support Forum / Internet Explorer page had me click on this link, and everything is working now! Thanks for all your help and I will be back next time I have a Windows 7 problem!

Great news I suppose we/ I should of taken more notice to your inability to see the reset button when reset was suggested

Either way enjoy it as long as it lasts still seems pretty weird :/
