utorrent filter not working

I have upgraded from my ancient HP, using Vista, to a brand new HP, using Windows 7.

'I'm delighted with Windows 7 except for one problem. I had utorrent filtering set up on my old machine and it had been running perfectly, from day one. However, under Windows 7 every item in the RSS feed is being downloaded! No filtering is taking place.

I'm pretty computer-literate. Obviously, I've told the feed not to download all the items in the feed. I've repeated the process several times. I've set all the parameters to match the old machine, and tried again etc.

Can anyone shed any light on this problem, please?

What rss client, 32 bit or 64? What feeds dont work?

I'm running EZTV Rss teed, under Windows 7 Home, 32-bit.

It's a brand new HP 620.

The only other programs installed, beyond the programs shipped with the machine, are VLC and Oprea.

I've also tried running utorrent in Vista and XP compatibility modes, to no avail
