Vaio Touchpad not working along with right key below it

my laptop's right key below the touchpad at times needs to be clicked more than once to respond..but recently d right key stopped working with d touchpad when used together..like fr selelction of text nd stuff..
what is the solution to this??

Hello saachi004 and welcome to Seven Forums.

Could be something as simple as some dirt getting under the key and preventing it from making contact. A can of compressed air might help. Or it could be something major like faulty wiring, a damaged contact/pressure switch, etc which would probably require a repair facility to fix. How long have you had this problem? If the Vaio is still under warranty it might be best to have a repair facility take a look at it.
