In a garage, trust me its awesome.
First time member, long time user. I've used these forums as a guest and have managed to solve a few problems, but this time I need more personal assistance. I hope I'm simply dealing with what damage remains after removing what viruses/malware I could. However, I would not be surprised if anything remained.

I have gotten several BSOD, and even random restarts before fully loaded after logging into my profile. Sometimes the system locks up, and some of those times whatever millisecond of sound that was playing indefinitely repeats. I honestly need help sorting this ugly bag of snakes, and this looked like the only forum to use despite the fact I need more help than just BSOD issues.

I have attached the zip file as needed, as well as properly updated My system specs in my profile here. Though for some reason I have four different sound cards, and would also like help in removing the system's access, even ability to update any unneeded sound cards. There was not enough room in the text field for all four, so I will post them here. Thanks to anyone willing to spare the patience in dealing with my incompetence. =^D

Sound cards:
(1) Wi-Fi Display Virtual Audio Device
(2) NVIDIA High Definition Audio
(3) HD Webcam C270
(4) Realtek High Definition Audio

P.S.: If there is a more relevant forum for this thread, I will gladly move it as soon as I am informed.

Hi Sylance,

according to the logs the installed Bios is dated prior to the release of W7.

please run this tool, copy/paste the output
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=52012

I highly suspect that the malware/virus you had is still affecting your comp.
Believe your best option is a clean install, (W7 SP1).
The tool i asked you to run earlier should confirm its a System builder OS

If you want to go this route, transfer all of your private files/folders to a USB.
and i will supply a link for W7 Sp1 HP.

Hi Sylance,

The product key in use has been "lifted" from another comp.
Certainly not yours, as i said earlier your comp was made prior to W7's release.
The SLIC table confirms this.
MS is denying you updates, as it also recognises the install as being non-genuine.

This forum does not support piracy and the rules state that until a genuine product is installed
no further help will be provided.

I was honestly not aware it was a pirated version, I got it from a Pawn Shop, and having seen nothing from Windows on it needing activated, assumed it was genuine. My apologizes.
