VB6 application fails, Out of Memory Error

Hello, today I am unable to run a VB6 application that I developed in my work PC and have been running for months. When I try to start it I get Out Of Memory Error. I tried to recompile the code but the IDE now crashes without any error message. The application runs just fine on my peers Win 7 PC's (essentially clones of mine). The S/W has been deployed to a multiplicity of machines running Win7 without any issues. The only change that my PC has seen was an Adobe plugin upgrade and the installation of a virtual COM port driver. I have removed both of these already. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Software you say is all very similar, however not hardware.
Have you done all Windows updates? In many updates things like .NET framework adds compatibility to many programs,

Thanks for your reply. Yes I have conducted all of the Windows updates. I re-installed VB6 IDE yesterday but the problem persists. My next go around will be running a Win7 OS disk and attempt to "repair" the installation.
