Maybe my description was a bit hectic,i'll try to clarify.I am using disk2vhd to convert my current OS into a virtual disk.I cant use the created vhd to boot up in VBox 4.2.10,tried assigning various controllers,am I missing something?I was able to,while on the previous version of VBox,but was prompted to upgrade to newer version and its no go now,any thoughts?

You are welcome.

If you just want internet access use NAT otherwise use Bridged.

NAT doesnt work and under bridged, tried both Ethernet controllers still a no go and when it comes to 'Vbox host only adapter' it states that it is not a bridged adapter interface.Terribly sorry beeing such a nuisance,i am fooling around with multiple combinations for the last hour and a half, getting real tired...

If I remember correctly the adapter type is critical.
