Very BIG size, "windows folder"

I got like 3 gigs by deleting my hibefile ( I don't use hibernation), and yes I kind of did need the free space, as I only had 300 MB free on my C: drive and could only clear out about another 300 MB by deleting unneccessary files(didn't have time to examine everything in my user folder to see if I'll ever need it again) and 600MB ,imho, is too little free space for a windows drive.

Anyway, you've all been extremely helpful, thank you!

If I ever run into problems with my windows 7 again, I'll be sure to post it on these boards. :)

I think mine is the biggest...

My windows folder size is 30.0 GB (30.2 on disk). I assume that isn't normal?

See attached screen shot.

Maybe this will make you feel at ease.
I uploaded mine. I have multiple harddrives and I avoid saving programs in C:\ hard disk drive.

This is my work computer.
I have another laptop running Windows 7 64 bit.
Another PC running Windows 8 64 bit pro.
Total of 3
So... I have a problem

So my windows folder is 120GB (I believe that's safe to assume it's not normal)... I run a disk cleanup and it doesn't make a difference (even when I run as admin). I've run the WinDirStat and I see my problem is... log files? (90GB worth!) If disk cleanup isn't removing these then I guess I have to do it manually, just want to make sure I'm not deleting anything important... also my temp folder seems to be 30GB too due to many 128MB files. Pictures attached. So what do I do.

Thats certainly not normal lookin at those screenshot something happened in October, thats when the cbs logs went squirrely 40GB increase.
As you have a custom build, and >>before you run out of space<< and turn your computer into a brick, use your discs and re-install W7.

That's ridiculously large for the CBS log. There are a few things you can do.
You can use Ccleaner to delete the temp files and see if they're recreated. https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download
I would advise deleting the CBS log if it's gotten that large. To do this you have to open Services.msc from the Start Menu search bar and stop the Windows Modules Installer service. Then delete the files and restart the service. The files will be recreated. If it grows to a ridiculous size again then something else is going on with your system.
Normally I wouldn't advise deleting the CBS logs but when it gets that big you really have little other option.
It's better to make a backup/image before removing it or making modifications.
