Actually, installing any AV is going against what we're trying to do here.

An online scan would be alright.

Slow Boot Time Issue

Hello

Have you checked to see if all device drivers are properly loaded in device manager sounds like a possible device driver issue. Select View hidden devices

I would try to do Microsoft updates and let it check for driver updates or go to MSI website and search for Windows 7 drivers for your unit.

Also have you tried to start in safe mode to see if your boot time improves.

Also you may try going into the Bios and loading defaults.

Can you describe in more detail the "slow boot" process what part is slow all of it or just loading the desktop stuff or what.

If this was an upgrade I would for sure go back and do a format and clean install the upgrades almost always have problems Microsoft should not even offer upgrades it is just a bad idea always always clean install.:D

Please I m having problem with my system. I tried to restore it to an earlier date using system restore but it became blank when it tried to restart and only the mouse pointer displays on the screen. I tried to also restart it in safe mode after I had force it to shut down, it gave the same blank screen too. I can only boot my other dual windows in a different partition. What do I do please?
