Hello everyone, i am new on this forum and i have one problem than i cant resolve. I had check many time in the others forums but nothing result.

So my problem is the following :

Since 2 months i constated than my bandwidth is very slow on windows 7 and i dont know from where it comes.

I have disable firewall, antivirus, reset the netsh cfg of my network card, formating my disk and reinstalled windows 7. i have tried everything...

When i download something on my windows 7 the rate is about from 60 kbps.. I take my mac, downloading the same link, frome the same interface of my router and with the same cable .. and the rate is about 7 Mbps .. SO what is wrong with windows 7.

And when i done i speedtest : it report my real rate : 98 Mbps in dowload and 60 Mbps in upload.

I thought about an update from windows which block some rate but i dont think so.

Can someone helps me please, it's really frustrating :D
Sorry for my english i am french and tried to explain this as clear as possible.

Regards,

Have you tried to update the firmware on your router? You didn't list that so I wasn't sure.

Regards,

Just because your mac works with this router does not mean Windows 7 will. Windows 7 requires firmware updates on most every router in order to work properly. If you havn't updated the firmware on your router then you certainly havn't tried everything. ;)

Take no notice of speedtest.net as for some strange reason it has started reporting dowload speeds of 100Mbs+?
