Hey guys, so yesterday I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 on another of my machines and so far everything works great. It's a rig very similar in parts n specs to my sig.
It's been up for 2 nights now and today I'm downloading all the Nvidia drivers, and ESET Nod32 install and other things. they are all moving along EXTREMELY slow.
Basically on the same machine with Vista, and my main rig with Windows, everything downloads well over 500 KB/sec, usually topping 1000. But this current rig I've yet to have anything go over 25 kb/sec. yes the nvidia 190 drivers 120+mb took forever. Really weird.
Does anyone have any suggestions. I have cox high speed internet and its weird to just start going slow. I'm using FF3.5 latest update, maybe I'll give it a run on IE8 and see. Other idea is maybe re-install FF3.5
any idea's would be great.
Thanks!
