VGA Projector does not work with Windows 7

I recently updated my OS from XP to Windows 7. I give presentations for a living and now when I connect my projector to my laptop (Dell Latittude D630) it will not display my computer on the projector. It's as if the projector is not even connected to my laptop. When I press the Function F8 keys nothing happens (the function key does work with other keys). When I look at the display settings it does not detect the projector. I've tried 3 different projectors so it's not the projector or cables, they work just fine with another laptop. It has to be something wrong with the Windows 7 operating system.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! I really like 7 but will have to reload XP if I can't get this fixed and quickly. Please Help.

PS. Please keep instructions simple!

Do you have the latest video drivers installed, and "multiple displays" enabled in the BIOS? I forget the exact wording, but I use two D630s at work to handle all of our presentations, and each one is packed with a VGA projector. They work without issue, running Windows 7 Professional.

I was able to go to nVidia and download the 186.81 driver and it fixed the problem!
