I've just bought and installed win 74 bit (sp1 streamlined) on a new SSD. Great.
Apart from for some reason (I've installed Win7, 3 times on this PC - due to hardware upgrades) this time - it didn't detect the onboard VIA HA audio.
I had to install the driver separately. Did that through the downloads page for the motherboard on the Asus site.
Each bootup I'm now being asked in a dialogue if I want to run hddesk.exe or whatever it is, as though windows hasn't installed it and want's to run it again.
I don't want to click "don't ask for this type of file again" - I just want to tell it to not ask for THIS file.
When I run HDdesk through the system tray it's there and works fine.
Anyone got any bright ideas?
Cheers
John
