video joiner

I need a video joiner that can join .avi .mpg etc. files .I tried with Fast AVI MPEG Joiner but not so good..I heard about AvuMux but im not sure it works with Windows 7 or not..Mostly i join 4-5 serials and watch it on my Tv

So anyone have any advice it would be great.....

perhaps you mean avidemux? it works fine on windows 7.

i like virtualdub myself, but it's not always intuitive...

TMPGEnc is excellent mpeg-1 & 2 creator and manipulator. You can join files and make rough edits too.

Or like Garbanzo says, Virtual Dub. There's a few different useful versions:

-normal
-ac3 version
-mp3 version
-mpeg-2 version
-virtual dub mod
-nandub
-version 1.3c that handles .asf files

Google them if you want to find. They're all free. Start with normal and get the other ones if and when you need them.
