videos appear zoomed out in Firefox, IE 9 and Windows Media Player

Same problem here. Any resolution?

I have the same problem with my HP Pavilion g6. The videos are zoomed in when on AC power, but play correctly on battery. I have a workaround solution, but I hope there is a permanent one. I go into AMD Vision Engine Control Center and choose PowerPlay under Power. I then change the option "Use PowerPlay to adust your graphics processor settings for higher performance or longer battery life." to Maximize Performance and hit apply. I then change the setting back to Maximize Battery Life and hit apply. This fixes the problem as long as I am logged in. If I log off, I have to do it over again.

I thought of updating the AMD Vision application, but have been hesitant since everything else seems to be working. Has anyone found a better and more permanent solution?

Thanks,
Spike

Hey Spike, Thanks for replying. I still have not came up with a solution. Working with HP on the problem was a total waste of time, they eventually told me to contact Microsoft. I just use VLC for my videos. I was having trouble with Firefox viewing videos, but I installed a different codec pack(I think i mentioned it in one of the threads in this posting)
HP had me update the AMD Vision app and it did not resolve anything.
I will have to try what you are doing and see what happens.
Very odd problem indeed. Odd that we both are using the same laptop isn't?
I will keep you updated
Have a Merry Christmas.
snoozer aka Mark or the other way around :)
