virtual memory

Hello guys.
Please tell me if i proced corect with my virtual memory setup
I have to harddrives. C and D is the first one, with the OS and other stuff, and E is the second harddrive.
As you can see in the image, please tell me if it's right.
I have 3 GB DDR ram

Those settings should be fine - if Windows crashes you won't be able to get a kernel dump with a paging file on C: that small, but for a desktop machine that should be fine (you can always change the setting and try again a second time if it's really necessary). In fact, since you have a properly sized paging file on E:, I'm not sure there's a need for one on C: if you're going to keep it that small.

Is there any particular reason you don't let Windows manage it by checking the box at the top?

you are best letting windows sort the page file out The optimal size for a pagefile is this ratio 1:1.5, ei: 4GB ram -> pagefile 6GB. However, if you let Windows handle it, if it needs the space, it can sort the requirements automatically. yours will be 5 Gigabytes = 5120 Megabytes 3 / 1.5 = 2 + 3 = 5 YOU ONLY NEED ONE DRIVE FOR PAGING FILE

Ok, and if i won't be able to get a kernel dump, is that "bad" ?

It just means that, should you get a BSOD, you won't be able to provide us with as much information as you could with a larger paging file on C:. In addition, you won't be able to use hibernation.

I never use hibernation.
I disabled this option.
