Virtual PC 2007 Blocked in Build 7100

it keeps telling me for compatability issues its blocked, any way to get around it or anythin to use besides VMware? i tend to screw around w/ older OS's whne im bored some install better n MS Virtual PC than VMware (Windows NT3.5 for one)

In Windows 7, you can use the new Windows Virtual PC instead.

well thats goo dfor 98 ME and win2k and ndewer but trying like mad to get old "hobbist " os's like NT4, 3.5,3. OS/2 OS/2 Warp and 3.1 is rather hard as atleast all those except NT 4, require floppy based install or boot. and atm NT4 is even giving me hell

it keeps complaining that it cant create the directory \winnt

*edit* errrr doesnt look like it seem sto like an Dynamicly expanding HDD file. but the one main issue for the others is no Floppy access. and far as i've looked online thers no working Virtual Floppy drive for Win 7

You might see if creating a ISO of them using something like ImgBurn may work instead to use to install them with to the virtual machine.

the prob when it come sto say NT 3.5, and even DOS is the first disk will work fine but it'll continue to insist for Disk 2 or 3 and whatnot.

have you tried installing VPC2007 SP1 as the regular VPC 2007 has some issues and you get better results when you try VPC2007 SP1

2007 SP1 instaaled but when ran still came up w/ blocked due to compatability issues as well it borked Virtual XP Mode

i have its liked Windows NT 4 but had problems with 3.5 and windows 3.11 just "hanging"

Virtual PC wont install unless your CPU does virtualization and is check or turned on in the Bios

Virtual PC 2007 sp1 will install on windows 7 machines that dont have the proper cpu for virtualization
