VPN Tools -> WIN7 blocks it

Is there something in WIN7 that blocks VPN Tools, such as Hamachi, Wippien etc. ?

We used it for gaming and such, and if I didn't disable the Firewall for the Network adapter that is created by such apps, one cant see my games hosted. I have to disable the Firewall for that, which I really dont want to do all the time.

I did add those Tools to the Firewall Rules and so, allowed them all access, but still it only works when Firewall is disabled. Was different in XP. Anyone experience with that ?

Any more response on that ? I don't understand why WIN7 blocks VPN stuff when the Firewall is enabled for that Network, even if the Application using it, in this case VPN Tools like Wippien, Hamachi etc. are allowed completely to actually work with the Firewall enabled.

I don't like having to disable the Firewall for that all the time. Is there a way to fix that ? I appreciate any help.

There may be a few more settings required to allow VPN access to your machine. The tutorial below shows you how to set your machine up for incoming VPN connections.

Thanks, I actually came across that Tuturial before. But because I am not using the WIN Build-In VPN Software, I don't know if that would work when I use other Tools. Anyone know the answer to that ?
