Solved VPN will not connect through windows or iOS

I really hope someone can help me with this, I have a Windows 7 x64 machine with a NETGEAR WNA3100 WiFi USB adapter. I have port forwarded my computer (1723 and 1701) and set up windows' version of a VPN server. I have configured user accounts that can access the VPN. I have configured the IPv4 connection settings inside of windows for specific ports (192.168.1.50-192.168.1.55). My issue is neither my iPhone or Windows machines will connect to it. Using LTE/3G gives the same "server did not respond" issue. My router is a NETGEAR WNDR3400v2. Thank you to all who help

I'm not sure if you followed a guide or tutorial or if you attempted on your own, but here is a guide that at the very least will allow you to walk through all of your steps in the event you may have missed something.
