Solved W7 Pro-64 Easy File Transfer Question.

I want to apply my OLD W7 Pro-64 Easy File Transfer MIG data to my NEW install of W7 Pro-64.

Is it best to install Applications like MS Office 2010 BEFORE applying the MIG File or AFTER?

I would just do the transfer. That's what I've done in the past, and I don't recall any issues with that.

I agree about the Transfer but the issue is installing Software before or after the Transfer.

One Software Item is MS Office 10.

If it's installed Before the Transfer, will it recognize the Files from Easy Transfer or not?

I think what I did was install programs first, then do the file transfer. Although I don't see why it would matter one way or the other. Logically, doing the programs first makes sense. That is how we do it in the first place. Install a program, then create files with it.
