Solved W7 Restore points and XPMODE

I have need to run XPMODE under W7 and have it installed. I've been down the path of XP deleting W7 restore points and I would like to know if XPMODE under W7 will delete restore points for W7 and/or W8 when it comes up. Does anyone know if XPMODE will delete restore points for W7?

XP Mode didn't delete any of my W7 restore points.

It shouldn't since it's a virtual machine and not a dual boot on the host.

Thank you for your reply. I'm affraid I have probably created a problem for myself. The W7 system under which XPMODE will run is in dual boot on my laptop with W8.1. I had the problem between the two systems of the restore points for W8 being deleted by W7 and it is fixed. I am working on a family photo scan project and the scanner and its software only run on XP. I guess I will have to come up with a different approach.

XP Mode shouldn't affect either OS.
