Solved W7 START PROGRAMS (opens 1 column) is there a multi Col option?

In XP there was a way to turn on a multi column view of all PROGRAMS so one doesn't have to constantly scroll up and down the one column list of programs ... is there some way to turn this feature on in Win 7?

Right click your taskbar and select Properties
Increase the number of recent items will also allow more vertical space for all programs,
